Prescriptions
How long does a refill take?
Most refills are ready within 24 hours. If we need to contact your doctor for a renewal, it can take 2–3 business days.
How do I transfer my prescriptions?
Contact us with your name, date of birth and your current pharmacy’s name and phone number. We handle the rest.
Can a pharmacist renew my prescription?
In many cases, yes. Pharmacists in Ontario can renew many ongoing prescriptions for a limited supply when you can’t reach your doctor.
What if I run out of medication on a weekend?
Call us. We can often provide an emergency supply of an ongoing medication.
Coverage and payment
Do you bill my insurance directly?
Yes. We bill the Ontario Drug Benefit program, OHIP+ and most private insurers directly. Bring your cards on your first visit.
What payment methods do you accept?
Debit, Visa, Mastercard and cash.
Can I get a receipt for my taxes or insurance?
Yes. Ask us for a yearly prescription summary for tax or insurance claims.
Services and appointments
Do I need an appointment?
Walk-ins are welcome for most services. Booking ahead means less waiting, especially for vaccines and assessments.
Is there a fee for minor ailment assessments?
Assessments for eligible conditions are free for Ontario residents with a valid health card. The medication itself may have a cost.
How do I cancel or change an appointment?
Call +1 (613) 285-5263 or email syzerman@sympatico.ca at least 24 hours ahead.
Delivery, returns and privacy
Do you deliver?
Yes, we deliver locally. See our delivery policy for details.
Can I return a prescription medication?
For safety reasons, dispensed medications can’t be returned once they leave the pharmacy. See our return and refund policy.
How is my health information protected?
We follow Ontario’s health privacy law. Read our privacy policy to learn how we collect and use your information.
